Happy May Day to all. Weather was very cooperative today; a nice mix of clouds and sun. After work and school, we went to our friend Christian's birthday party. We got to hang out and visit with kids and grownups, eat barbecue, swim and eat Spongebob birthday cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream. There was also a pinata and lots of candy. It was a good day. :)
Tomorrow there WILL be housework. The kids also have reading practice and a little homework, and we will finish some other projects together. If we really put the pedal to the metal, we can knock it out in 3/4 day and have the rest of the weekend to free roam, so to speak.
Sounds like a plan!
