Lady #1:  I just heard from my brother--my grammy died.  She was 106.

Lady #2:  Oh, was she sick?

Lady #1:  No, she was old.

Pre-pausing?  Already?

I heard that pre-menopausal women get foggy.  They aren't going crazy and they don't need Aricept.

So that's my story and I'm stickin' to it--

Tomorrow is Thursday--fave day of the week day.  Yay!

CFS

Resident  hypochondriac checking in.  I know perfectly well I do not have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  Still, I am tired almost all of the time lately.  I have a hard time waking up when it's dark and getting a late start makes me run all day long.  Then I try to catch up and stay up too late.  Repeat, repeat, repeat.

Ambien?  Anyone?

The Doberman was ROBBED at Westminster.  A Pekingese?  Are you kidding me?

Westminster Night 2

Happy Valentine's Day!  I saw lots of red clothes, shoes, flowers, and cards everywhere today.  It made me smile.

Forgot to set the DVR to tape THE dog show before I left for class.  It must have been because I was stiill finishing the homework and otherwise unsuccessfully multi-tasking.  Missed the Sporting Group, but I saw the Irish Setter took first.  A scrapbooking friend got tickets and is probably there as I type this--beeyotch!  Just kiddin.  

Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in Madison Square Garden.  Totally on my bucket list.

If I had to choose Best in Show right now, it would be the Dalmatian or the Doberman.  It is 10:11 p.m. and we'll check back in tomorrow to see if my prediction is right.

Happy Birthday to Nana B.!  We love you--

I was whining on FB earlier about my story getting workshopped.  I still need practice at separating my writing from me.  When people suggest edits, it is in the spirit of improving my work.  They are NOT criticizing me personally.  It's about my written words.

I think the solution is to write more.  Practice, practice, practice!  :)

In the light

If my new header finally works properly, you'll see a picture I took on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks back.  I'd say we are definitely "in the light" - which is wayyy different from "going into the light" - lmfao!  These photographs turned out to my satisfaction even though Zing was not too interested in waiting for me to get my composition just right.

 

 

 

 

 

In the 4th one, it looks like light shining off the water, but it was actually fog.  In the last two, there are 2 ducks in the water to help show the difference between reflection and real land.

I was one with nature after these.

Technical difficulties

a/k/a the reason I can't figure out why my blog won't upload any pictures.  Did you notice the photo is missing from the top, and also the name of the blog has mysteriously disappeared? 

I keep getting some lame ass error message--in red, no less--that says, we're sorry, but you have blabbity blabbity blah and includes a link that gives me absolutely no solution to fix what they're so sorry about.

Vexed doesn't even begin to cover it. 

I have so many photos that I haven't posted.  They're too old, and now they're irrelevant.  For example, I got a beautiful cell phone photo of the historical Christmas star in downtown Orlando.  Maybe I can hang onto it until this Christmas?  Plan ahead!  lol

When I get to the bottom of this technical c-r-a-p, regular posting shall commence.  And it WILL include photos or I will have to go postal.
