Orchid babies

A spike on one of my orchids has sprouted new leaves and roots are now shooting out from the side.  I'll have to consult with Professor Google to find out if I should leave them at the top of the spike, or if I should cut them and transfer them to another pot.  To me, it looks like they enjoy growing in the place I put them in.  I love that :)

 

 

Take that, Christmas retailers!

Since all the retailers have taken it upon themselves to put Christmas stuff out at Halloween, here are some Jack-o-lanterns carved after Halloween.  Only 15 shopping days left!

Non-pumpkin patch photos

We did not make it to the pumpkin patch this year.  But Aldi had a door buster deal:  $0.99 each.

The kids will carve turkey designs on them on Saturday because we didn't get a chance to do the jack-o-lantern carving before trick or treating.

Frosty Paws Peanut Butter Edition

Zing got Frosty Paws to celebrate his birthday.  We didn't know they came in peanut butter flavor....

We think he approves!

Happy Birthday Zing!

Zing has spent one year being a part of the family!  This weekend he'll get Frosty Paws and another humiliating photo shoot.  Can't wait!

Had a fun time visiting old friends at the SHS 30 year class reunion.  Ahem.  For the record, I don't like typing the words "30th" and "class reunion" in the same sentence. It makes me sound ancient.  I missed some classmates I wanted to see, and I got to see some that I haven't seen in a long while, so I needed to reconnect.

These are the only pictures I took with my camera because I knew I was going to mooch off everyone's photos from Facebook.
