Last day of June

I thought I better do an entry to see if the post counter still works, ha! 

At this same time last week, I was final-exam-takin' !!  And I told myself that I was going to be less busy and less tired when the class was over.

But even the best laid plans can go awry.  For some reason I've taken to hitting the off button instead of snooooooze, and it has totally messed up this week.  I'm either tired..... or asleep.  No in between!

It's good to be tired

when you know it means that you get to go to bed without reading, writing, or checkbooking!  It'll be nice when I wake up tomorrow knowing I have extra time on the schedule.  I have some pictures that are way overdue, and I'm not backdating them.  I'll just put them up one at a time so the post count might get into the low double digits before the month is out.  muhahaha!

This post is back-dated because the Happy Birthday wishes started yesterday for the boss even though we are delinquent in posting the treats.  The kids helped too and modestly we think everything looks tasty!

Home internet down

Posting a quickie from work because, courtesy of AT&T U-Verse, my wireless internet has been going out.  It was out for one night, then it was on, now it's back off again.  Sheesh.  I had neither the time nor inclination to call them (again) to get it straightened out. 

I think it's a sign of my growing maturity that I did not call AT&T during PMS week.  Just pointing that out :)

Did I hear....

extension?  An extension that changes the due date for my research essay from this Thursday to next Tuesday?  Yes ---I'll take that :)  Don't mind  if I do!!

I will have to do an extra 1 or so pager about one of the stories I'm reading for Thursday, which I love doing anyway.  So worth the trade!  I could've turned it in Thursday, but I am so happy to have an extra few days to gild the lily ;-) 

At this moment it is thundering and pouring rain.  Woohoo!  Everybody on our street has brown grass.  Tomorrow all the yards will look beautifully green!

Today is Johnny Depp's birthday and he is 48.  *swoon*

I didn't realize before that his birthday is on the same day as my Beamer-kins!

That means I'll never think of one without the other ever again!!!!!
