Happy Birthday to Johnny :)
Today is Johnny Depp's birthday and he is 48. *swoon*
I didn't realize before that his birthday is on the same day as my Beamer-kins!
That means I'll never think of one without the other ever again!!!!!

Go Dallas Mavericks!
At this moment the Mavericks are behind in game 3. I don't want Miami to win the championship because they put my Orlando Magic out of the playoffs.
Go Mavericks! Man up! Beat-the-Heat!!!

Up, down, or out?
Ha ha, Granny knows what that means!
Pretty much sums up my day from morning, noon, night.

Sprucing Up
For a month or so now, I've been wanting to spruce up my blog, or at least mix it up a little bit so that it looks like it's new and improved. When I was a kid, I used to rearrange the furniture in my room when I needed a change. HA! Now I'm having that same feeling about the blog. The trick is finding the time--busy weekend ahead! ;-)

dr. wayne dyer quote
I feel lazy tonight....so I'll post a quote :)
Refuse to ever use
the term "failure" again about yourself or anyone else. Remind
yourself that when things didn't go as planned you didn't fail, you only
produced a result. Then ask yourself this powerfully life-enhancing question,
"What am I going to do with the results I've produced?" And proceed
to act in such a way as to be grateful rather than resentful for those less
than glorious results. - Dr. Wayne Dyer

Night of Excellence
Caroline has been awarded her second Wonderful Writer Award, and got a beautiful medallion to prove it! :) She also got a trophy for A/B Honor Roll for the whole school year.
I tried to take pictures of her while she was onstage, but (1) other kids kept getting in front of her, and (2) she wouldn't stay still for more than 1.76892 of a second, and (3) I'm not as fast as I used to be!! ;-0
We are so proud of our Caroline Grace!
