" . . . this path, this road that is one perfect
straight line even if it goes around the world through heat
and fog and rain and snow and it's my life I keep thinking,
It's my life."
- Deborah Keenam, from "Small History"
Instead of lamenting that my path isn't easy and straight, I'm reminded to try to be more observant of what is positive along my own path. I need to pay more attention to the universality of my journey insted of focusing on what might be missing or what's wrong with said journey.
In my eyes, my journey is here, there, and everywhere. But suddenly I remember that in God's eyes, I'm traveling on a perfectly straight line . . . the one in accordance with His plan.
