On the way to school today, we were "discussing" behavior issues. I told John Sam that he needed to bring home his behavior chart today because he didn't bring yesterday's and that made me suspicious that he didn't have as good a day as he insisted.
So he said to me in a grouchy way, "Mom, that's in the past and you need to let it go."
I replied, "John Samuel, you shouldn't talk to Mommy like that."
He then said, "Mom, can you PLEASE let it go??"
It is very, very hard to lecture your son when you are laughing and trying to cover it up.
