Summertime Rain

We've been getting rain every single day for about the last two weeks. I love to sit inside by the window and listen to the thunder and the sound of the rain pounding down, and see the lightning bursts that illuminate our skies. The kids don't mind it too much, as long as we've played outside earlier in the day.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band said it best: "If we're ever gonna see a rainbow, we've gotta stand a little rain."
